Mrs. Daisy Parks Randall 71, of 1103 Gary Road widow of Sammie Lee Randal entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2020 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. She was born in Greenwood County February 18, 1949 a daughter of the late Asa Parks, Sr. and Mary Emma Jefferson Parks. She was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1967 and formerly employed with the Nantex.
She was employed many years with Adult Daycare and also worked as a private caregiver. She had a love for cooking and caring for others. She was a faithful member of Dunham Temple CME Church where she served as an Usher, Missionary and former member of the McKee Mass Choir.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Antonia Randall, two sisters, Gladys Parks Holness and Leola Williams
Surviving are two sons, Anthony Randall and Glennis (Faye) Randall of Greenwood; one daughter, Rachel Randall of the home; two brothers , Asa (I 'Tonya) Parks, Jr. of Greenwood, SC and George ( Bernice) Beasley of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Susan Brown and Lucy Parks of Greenwood, SC ; one sister, in law, Viola Beasley of Thomason GA; two brothers in law, Willie( Paulette) Randall of Greenwood, SC and Walter Randall of Dallas , TX; a god daughter, Glenda Foster of Columbia, SC ; 12 grandchildren, two reared in the home Iquitta Allen and Devarrea Gilchrist; 18 great grandchildren, two reared in the home, Keythan Cooper and Karson Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, March 9, 2020 at Dunham Temple CME Church with Rev. James McKee officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Steve Scurry, Herbie Parks, Richard Parks, Weldon E. Cloud, Terry Randall and Nephews. Flower bearers will be nieces.
Mrs. Randall will be placed in the church at 10:00 am.
The family will receive friends at Percival Tompkins Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5-6pm
