Sarah Foster Pearson

Sarah Frances Foster Pearson, 81,  of 15647 Hwy 221 S,  widow of Johnnie Allen Pearson passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her home.  Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Hackett and Univester Foster.

She graduated from Brewer High School and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she was member of the Missionary, Seniors on the Move, Gospel Choir and an Usher.

She was predeceased by her husband, daughters, Pamela Perkins, Sheryl Ann Ross and Beverly M. Pearson; brothers, John and Clarence Foster.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a son, Lonnie Pearson of Leavenworth, KS; a brother, Billy Eugene (Bennie) Foster of Waterloo; a sister, Ruby (Henry) Cunningham of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Tonnanisha Perkins, Calandra (Steve) Pearson, Rafel Perkins, Courtney Perkins, Temorris (Kasheba) Pearson and Dovonia (Tawanda) Ross; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Coronaca with Reverend Cartrell Blume officiating.   The body will be placed in the church at 12:00 Noon.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family is at the home.
