Pastor Agnes Dillard
Mother Pastor Agnes Dillard, 72,of 139 Creek Road East wife of Walter Dillard transitioned from labor to reward on April 5, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Columbia , SC July 5, 1946 a daughter of the late
Grover Busby Jr. and Murline Liveston Busby.
She was Pastor of Immanuel Outreach Ministry New Market Street, Greenwood SC She was educated in the Richland County public school system and a graduate of Dover High School Class of 1964.
She did further studies at Morehouse School of Divinity, Voorhees College and Piedmont Technical College.
She was a former church member, Missionary and Prayer Warrior at Morning Star COGIC.
Mother Pastor Dillard was also a founding member of Warren Temple COGIC where she was the Mother of The Church before leaving to establish her ministry at Immanuel Outreach Ministries.
She was preceded in death by a son, Monty Carl Dillard and a sister Luise Amaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Walter Dillard of the home, one devoted son Mario (Stacy) Dillard of Sterling, Illinois; one daughter in law, Mary Dillard of Mauldin; three brothers; Grover ( Jessie) Busby Jr. and Gregory Busby both of Greenwood, SC , Melvin Busby of Simpsonville, SC; one sister; Gloria Busby of Simpsonville, SC; a sister in law, Brenda LaCroix of Greenwood, SC; three grandchildren: Tyree and Dantre Dillard of Sterling, Illinois, Myles Dillard of Mauldin, SC and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services for Mother Pastor Dillard will be 3 pm Saturday April 13, 2019 at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, 530 Baptist Avenue Greenwood, SC 29646 with Pastor Superintendent Karl McCluney officiating.
Burial will be in Evening Star Cemetery 111 Memorial Lane, Greenwood, SC.
Mother Pastor Dillard will be placed in the church at 1:30 on Saturday, April 13, 2019
Public viewing for Mother/ Pastor Dillard will be on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 1 - 5 pm at Percival Tompkins FH and 6-8 pm at Immanuel Outreach Ministry 549 New Market Street, Greenwood.
