Hattie Julia Rappley Green

Mrs. Hattie Julia Rappley Green 80, of 314 Winston Street Thomasville, NC departed this life on January 14, 2019 in Greenwood, South Carolina. Born January 9, 1939 in Greenwood, SC , she was the daughter of the late Major and Laura Mae Moore Rappley and attended Greenwood County schools.

Mrs. Green was a member of the International Church of God in High Point North Carolina where she served faithfully for over 50 years. She retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries after 40 years of service.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Ira and sister Henrietta.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Jessie Mae Rappley of Greenwood, nieces Sandra D. Rappley Seaborough ( Vernon) of Hinesville, Georgia, Deidre M Rappley Sayles (William), Latisha M Rappley, and Jennifer L Rappley of Greenwood, Sister in God, Ellena Hairston and God daughter, Carol Harrison Robinson of Thomasville, North Carolina, and God son, Elmond Morton of Greenwood.

She leaves to cherish her memory twelve great nieces and nephews, cousins James Marion Hackett and Sandra Hackett Alston and other extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2

PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Percival Tompkins Chapel 330 Magnolia, Greenwood, SC 29646 with Rev. Joseph Caldwell officiating.

Pallbearers will be great nephews.

Flower bearers will be great nieces and friends.
