Robert P Aiken

Mr. Robert Pressley Aiken Senior 88 was born in Abbeville County South Carolina. He was the youngest boy of ten children born to the late John Aiken and Daisy Fisher-Aiken. He confessed a faith in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He departed this life November 8, 2018. Preceding him in death is his first wife Louise Aiken, daughter Brenda Aiken and sons George Aiken and Daryl Thompson, siblings Mary Francis, John Aiken, Cornell Aiken, Daisy Green, George Aiken, Artist Aiken, Dorothy Campbell and Son In-law Greg Latimore.

Left to cherish and honor his memory are his wife Ubirda Aiken, her two sisters and four brothers, Wilhelmina McRae of Virginia and Jessie Pendarvis of Long Island, NY, Children Vernell Aiken Guidroz and Mike Guidroz, Diane Aiken, Robert Jr. and Roberta Aiken, Daisy Aiken Latimore, John Aiken, Bruce Aiken, Tyrone Aiken and Dennis Brown, Timothy and Penny Aiken, Rosemary Aiken and Jake Anderson, Charlene Aiken-Coward and Marlon Coward Sr., Anthony and Danielle Aiken, Marion Aiken Floyd and Steven Floyd, Jermaine Aiken, Chastity Aiken, Robert Aiken, Roderick Pressley and Sarah Aiken, Ronica Aiken, Stephen Harrell, Anthony Harrell, Yusef and Sharyle Williams, countless, Grand and Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews Cousins and Friends.

We will mourn the loss of Robert and cherish the fond memories of times past. Robert Aiken Sr. will continue to live in the hearts and minds of his family and friends. While loss is challenging it is also a time to renew, connect and lift everyone in love. May God’s love be with all of us.

Funeral services will held 3 PM Friday November 16, 2018 at Mt Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Carlene Aiken-Coward officiating assisted by Pastor Randy Jackson presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearer and Flower bearers will be friends of the family

the family is at the home.
