Willie Spearman

Mr. Willie S. Spearman 75, of 428 Wade Avenue , Greenwood, SC  departed this life June 11, 2017 at his home.

Born in Abbeville November 6,1941 he was the son on the late Charlie Washington Spearman and Mary Boozer Spearman. He was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church,  retired from Grede Foundries, Inc and a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1959.

He was a member of the gospel group The Golden Stars.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Bobbie Jean Spearman, a son, Willie Spearman, Jr. siblings, Callie Spearman and Mary L Williams.

Surviving  are his children; a son, Christopher (Demetria) Spearman of Greenwood; five daughters, Cynthia Spearman  and Pamela (Willie Jr.) Graham both  of Greenwood, SC; Toi Spearman of Irving, TX ; Shantel (Travis ) Fisher of Greer, SC ,  Deshonda Spearman of Anderson, SC; one brother, Charlie W. Spearman III( Bishop Ethel Talbert Spearman) ; one sister, Earline Spearman Aiken;  eleven grandchildren,  two great grandchildren ; a sister in law, Easter Harrison (Lafayette);  brothers in law, Edward Corley of Norristown , PA and Carl Lewis ; two uncles, Simeon Spearman and Kadell Spearman of Greenwood and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Noon, Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Oakbrook Memorial Park with Pastor Julius D. Crawford, presiding and Pastor Annette Edwards officiating.
