Mr Willie "Billy" Bennett,Sr

Willie Herbert "Billy" Bennett, Sr 74 of 352 Joe Louis Blvd, peacefully and quietly departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the home of his sister and bother in-law in Waterloo, SC. He was born in Waterloo, SC to the late Clyde Bennett, Sr and Eliza Hill Bennett. Billy was a faithful member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church, a graduate of Sanders High School, Class of 1961, and was retired form Monsanto after more that 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by a son, Randy.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, two sons, Norris D.(Linda) Bennett, Willie Herbert (Melissa) Bennett, Jr of Waterloo, SC ; a brother, Clyde Bennett, Jr of Waterloo, SC two sisters, Shirley (Thomas) Latimer of Laurens, SC, Barbara Tompkins (Charles) Foster of Waterloo, SC; six grandchildren Taureen, Nytavious, Jasmine Bennett, Mackenizie Hunter, William Myles Bennett and Shanese Cunningham; seven great grandchildren, Jakhari, Taureana, Taurean Bennett, Lauren Olivia Spears, Allanah Bennett King, Ke"Lyn Hunter and Omar Cunningham; three aunts, one uncle, a host of loving relatives and a special friend, Frances Burton. Billy touched many lives with kind words and thoughtful deeds by lending a helping hand to those in need. He loved his neighbors and will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Herbert Glenn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
