Ms Ruby Acree

Ms Ruby Acree 81,  of NHC Healthcare passed December 22, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Washington, GA   September 14, 1934 a daughter of the late Ed Acree and Carrie Williams Acree. She was a member of Jackson Chapel AME Church Washington, GA where she was a former Stewardess and Sunday School Teacher.

She was preceded in death by a son Robert Jennings, siblings, Elise Norman, Hattie Acree, Sarah Day,  Louise Acree and Lamar Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories, five sons, Paul ( Annette ) Jennings, Rufus (Valerie) Jennings, James (Brenda) Jennings of Greenwood, Bobby Jennings of McCormick and Rickey Jennings of Greenwood; one daughter, Ruby (Paul) Johnson of Greenwood, three sisters, Katie Reid,  Washington, GA,  Lula Bell Acree, Chicago, I and Annie Acree Washington, GA; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 gg grandchildren; a special niece,  Grenda Milton of Washington, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Noon Saturday, December 26, 2015 at True Vine Progressive Church of Jesus, 656 Bellfield Rd, McCormick, SC 29835 with Rev. Patricia D. Wilder officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons.

Flower bearers will be Granddaughters.

Ms Acree will be placed in the church at 11:00 AM

The family is at the home of a son, James (Brenda) Jennings 101 Vintage Court, Mill Pond Subdivision, Greenwood.
