Mr Howard Vincent Boles was born September 23, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY and departed this life on Sunday December 6, 2015 in Clinton, Maryland

“Butch” as he was known to all, was the only son of Glynn Boles and Gloria Boles-Johnson

After graduating from Greenwood High School, Butch matriculated at South Carolina State College where he majored in Pre-Med Biology. He pledged Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, Inc. at South Carolina State College (now South Carolina State University).

Butch also received certification from Piedmont Technical Collage and pursued his career in Automotive Mechanics. He worked in the family business Boles Bus Lines as a driver and Boles Enterprises as an Automotive Technician

At an early age he joined the Morris Chapel Baptist Church Family. Butch had a passion for automotive racing and football. He had a good heart and a loving spirit.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his father, Glynn( Betty) Boles Greenwood; his mother, Gloria Boles-Johnson, Suitland, Maryland; two sisters, Tonya Loraine Boles and Jewell (George) Awkard both of Suitland, Maryland; three nephews, Micheal W. Jones, Jr., Leon ”Faruq” Awkard and Nickolus Glynn Boles; three uncles- Edward ( Earlean ) Boles Greenwood, Jerome (Rita) Watson, Georgia, John (Ruth)Watson California; three aunts- Juanita (Willie) Devore Fairfax, SC, Laura Manigalt, Hampton, Virginia; Yvonne Watson , Maryland; many cousins , relatives and friends.

Final Services will be held Noon Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Morris Chapel Baptist Church with Bishop Oliver T. McCray, Jr. Presiding and Pastor Joseph Caldwell Officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Cousins.

Flower bearers will be Cousins.

Honorary escort will be Boles Bus Line Enterprises employees (past and present)

Mr. Boles will be placed in the church at 11:00 AM.

The family is at the home 1316 Bunche Avenue; Greenwood.
