Mrs. Wilhelmenia Brown

Mrs. Wilhelmenia Brown 73, of 121 Myrtle Street , Magnolia Place Subdivision widow of Andrew Brown passed May 16, 2015 at her home. She was born in Greenwood county May 29, 1941 a daughter of the late Rosetta Payne.

She was  a member of Second Damascus Baptist Church where she served as Vice President of the Gospel Choir, member of the Wiling Workers and Ladies Adult Sunday School  Class.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Shirley Nance, Sennie Thomas and 3 brothers, Julian Payne, Earnest Payne and Jimmy Lee Payne

Surviving are, five sisters, Charlie (George) Higgins, Ellen Quarles, Jo Ann Freeman, Rosa (Clyde) Marshall and Brenda Payne all of Greenwood ; two brothers, John Robert Payne and Cleveland Payne both of Greenwood; a special cousin Julia(Curtis) Carter ; two God Daughters, Danielle Norman, Marsha Ryans; three sisters in law, Ruby Brown, Mary Hatttie Brown and Jessie Mae Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, may 21, 2015 at Second Damascus Baptist Church with Rev Leroy Robertson officiating assisted by Rev. Herry Mansel Presiding.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be LiDeveas Payne, Glenn Payne, Derrick Marshall, Willie Freeman, Quinn White, Tony Freeman and Kenneth White

Flower bearers will be Kimberly Payne, Yashacia Nance, Irisha Payne, Whitney Freeman, Felicia Payne, Sharon Freeman, Paulette Freeman, Shannon Freeman and KeYondra Moates.

Mrs. Brown will be placed in the church at 10:00am

The family is at the home 121 Myrtle Street, Magnolia Place Subdivision
