Rosa Syrkett Brown

Mrs. Rosa Syrkett Brown, widow of the late Mr. King Brown, died on Thursday, December 18th in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Ninety-Six, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Mr. Will Syrkett and Mrs. Ada Andrews Syrkett. She was a member of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Epworth and a retired beautician. Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Frances S. Syrkett of Philadelphia, PA; Mrs. Elise S. Bolden and Mrs. Bennie S. Holloway of Greenwood and Ms. Willie M. Carter of Ninety-Six; two brothers Mr. Charles Syrkett (Yvette) of Lawrenceville, GA and Mr. Franklin Syrkett of Anderson, S.C. Funeral services will be will be held on Monday, December 29th at 11 AM at Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Danny R. Webb pastor and officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home, 821 Townes Street, Greenwood, S.C. Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brown and Syrkett families.
