GREEENWOOD – Mrs. Elaine Patterson Williams, 60, wife of John A. Williams, Jr. of 111 Chesterfield Ct, Apt. 4, died December 12, 2014 at her home.

She was the daughter of  Dorothy Patterson Chappelle  and the late George Norman.  She was a graduate of Greenwood High School, Class of 1972 and Piedmont TEC.  She a member of New Generation Outreach and was employed with NHC of Greenwood.

She is survived by in addition to her husband of the home, her mother and step-father, Timothy Chappelle, Jr.  of Hodges; two sons, Adrian Thompson and Fredrick Thompson both of Greenwood, SC; a daughter, Keisha Patterson of Greenwood, SC; six brothers, Timothy Chappelle, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Barry Chappelle  of Greenwood, SC, Michael  Percy of Richmond, VA, George Norman, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Brian Norman of Brooklyn, NY and Darren Norman of Richmond, VA;two step daughterws, Selena  Elmore and Tarsha Burton ; two step sons, Kentravius Williams and Thaddus Devlin ; four sisters, Cynthia Chappelle of Columbia, SC, Tonya Chappelle of Greenville, SC,  Loray Norman of Greenwood, SC and Karen Desilus of Queens, NY and two grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM  AT Beulah Baptist Church with Reverend Derrick Scott officiating.  The body will be placed in the church at noon.  Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The Greenwood High School Class of 1972 will be the Pallbearers and Flower bearers.

The family is at the home of her mother, 4426 Cokesbury Road, Hodges, SC.
