Mr. Frederick “Brother” Miller 68, of 511 Foundry Road husband of Patricia Ann Hawthorne Miller passed June 9, 2014 at this home. He was born in Cokesbury, SC February 17, 1046 a son of the late Moses Miller, Sr. and Annie Mae Goggins Miller.

He attended the local schools of Greenwood County and was a veteran of the United States Navy He was a member of St Paul AME Church and formerly employed with Monsanto and Greenwood Mills

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Miller and a sister, Jofletta Miller Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of the home, two daughters, Yolanda Michelle Miller of Greenwood and Pamela Miller McDaniels (Oscar) of Fredricksburg, VA; one granddaughter, Brittaney Miller Morton of Fredricksburg, VA; one grandson, Devin McDaniels and one great grandson, Ian Morton both of Fredricksburg, VA ; one brother in Law- Emmette Tucker of Anderson, SC; four sisters in law, Barbara Griffin of Greenwood, SC Shirley Lindsey of Honea Path, SC, Melissa Miller of Bradley , SC and Martha Hawthorne of Due West,SC; ten sisters, Mildred Wilson of Danville, VA, Anniese Williams of Hodges, SC, Alma M Gray, Ruth (Dale) Smith, Ernestine(Jeffery) Logan and Denise Miller all of Greenwood, Evelyn(Perry) Brown of Abbeville, SC. , Ruby Chappell, Erma Jean Miller and Dorothy (Timothy)Chappelle of Cokesbury, SC; two brothers, Rev. Moses Miller (Geraldine) of Greenwood, SC and George (Katherine) Miller of Callison; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Noon Saturday, June 14, 2014 at St Paul AME Church with Rev. Krystal Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends of the family.

Flower bearers will be nieces and friends of the family.

Mr. Miller will be placed in the church at 11:00am.

Public viewing will begin at 1pm Friday.

The family is at the home.
