He was born in Greenwood county a son of the late Edward Lee and Lou Lee Lee. He was reared in the home of his grandparents the late John Henry and Josephine Lee. He was retired from Self Regional Healthcare after 45 years in the Dietary Department. He was a former Deacon , member of Harmony Lodge # 37 and The Shriners # 84. He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Lee and two daughters, Cherrie Lavon Lee and Sandra Jean Lee. Puckett and Ethel Williams Puckett. She was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1947. She was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church where she was involved in several ministries in the church.
