Mrs. Hattie Julia Rappley Green 80, of 314 Winston Street Thomasville, NC departed this life on January 14, 2019 in Greenwood, South Carolina. Born January 9, 1939 in Greenwood, SC , she was the daughter of the late Major and Laura Mae Moore Rappley and attended Greenwood County schools. Mrs. Green was a member of the International Church of God in High Point North Carolina where she served faithfully for over 50 years. She retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries after 40 years of service. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Ira and sister Henrietta. Mr. Terry Eugene " Turk" Tate 46, of 106 Spring Valley Road died January 1, 2019 at Doctor's Hospital in August Georgia. He was born in Greenwood County January 3, 1972 a son of Barbara Parks Tate and the late Jimmy Tate. He was a member of Dunham Temple CME Church and worked Security for many years until his health failed.
