Born May 2, 1962, in McCormick, SC, a daughter of Charlie F. Martin and Bettie Jean Middleton Martin. She was a member of Holy Springs Baptist Church in McCormick, SC and a graduate of McCormick High School Class of 1980. Obituary Forrest Bailey Parker, Jr. was born January 13, 1950 at Brewer Hospital to the late Louise (Miller) and Forrest Bailey Parker, Sr. At an early age he showed a love for sports of all types. The huge lot next to his house on Pearl Street became the daily football or baseball field for all the boys in the neighborhood. One of their favorite games, invented by them, was Put-Back Football. She was born in Greenwood County September 30, 1950 a daughter of the late Asa Parks, Sr. and Emma Mae Jefferson Parks. He was born June 10, 1922, to the late Willie and Rosa Gill of Allendale County, South Carolina. Mrs. Ebell Blocker Martin, 98, of 113 S. Ames Street, widow of Timothy Martin, passed away January 4, 2017 at her home. She was born to the late Deacon Ed and Eliza Skykett Blocker on May 9, 1918 in Greenwood County, South Carolina. She was educated in the Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church School and was a lifelong member of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Epworth, SC. She was a retiree of Southside Elementary School, Greenwood District 50.
