She was born in Greenwood county November 20, 1942 a daughter of Timothy Martin and Ebell Blocker Martin. She was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1960 and retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a member of old Mt Zion Baptist Church, Epworth. Bessie Mae Davis 71, formerly of 626 Oak Avenue passed April 20, 2016 at St Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ. She was born in Newberry County January 28, 1945 a daughter of Roosevelt Davis and Ethel Boston Davis. She was a member of St Vaughnville Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School Class of 1963 and retired from the Greenwood School District 50. GREENWOOD - Shirley Mae Benjamin, 76, of 1548 Parkway Drive, Pine Ridge Apts. 5-B, widow of Andrew James Benjamin, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center. She was born October 15, 1939 in Hodges, SC, a daughter of the late Thomas and Carrie Bell Robinson Harris. She graduated from Brewer High School and was a member of Macedonia CME Church. She was formerly employed with the Greenwood School District and One Hour Martnizer. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted brother, Curtis Harris of Greenwood, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James J.
