Wideman 84, was born Clara Estella Douglas on August 2, 1930 in Greenwood, S.C. the only child of the late James Douglas and Mary Johnson. and passed May 5, 2015 in Spartanburg, SC She received her early education in Greenwood. Her early spiritual education was received at Morris Chapel Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age.
