Mrs. Annie Ruth Spearman 82, of 705 Clem Road, widow of L.T. Spearman went from Labor to reward on April 14, 2015 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont. She was born in the Kirksey Community December 1, 1933 a daughter of Carroll Ross and Nellie Anthony Ross. Sharing in her rearing was her grandmother Carrie General. She was reared from childhood and was a member of in Flint Hill Baptist Church and attended Allen Chapel AME Church after marriage. She was employed with Greenwood Packing Plant for many years and caretaker in private homes. She was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1955 and former member of the Daughters of Elks . Mr. Michael Anthony Lawrence 58, of 135 Brentwood Drive, husband of Lorraine Quarles Lawrence passed March 27, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. He was born in Newark, NJ October 7, 1956 a son Zonia Mae Lawrence and James Rodgers. He was Sub Contractor and formerly employed with Solutia. He was a faithful member of Grace Community Church where he served in several capacities to include Deacon and Custodian. Surviving in addition to his devoted wife of the home, his children, Shari Bailey, Toneisha Roberts ( Nathaniel) , Stephanie Lawrence, Michael A. Ms Sherri Lynn Nance 35, of 102 Osbo rne Street transitioned from this earthly world to her heavenly home on March 31, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood County April 9, 1979, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lorenzo Nance and Rosa Lee Nance and the granddaughter of Willie and Floyd Robinson and Lorenzo “Posh” Nance and Addie Brownlee Nance. She was a member of Dunham Temple CME Church and sang on the Gospel Choir.
