Mrs. Mary Frances Lee 89, of 439 Marion Alley wife of Joe N. Lee passed February 4, 2015 at her home. She was born in Greenwood County December 31, 1925 a daughter of the late George Longshore and Ida White Longshore. She was a retired Nurses’ Aide having worked for Carriage Nursing Home in Washington, DC and also in private homes after moving back to Greenwood. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and former member of O.E.S. in Washington, DC. She was the last survivor of her siblings She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted and loving husband, Joe N. She was born in Greenwood County August 9. 1943 a daughter of the late John Smith and Mary Turner Smith. She was a former member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Second Damascus Baptist Church. She was a retired Head Cook for Greenwood Countr y Club for 27 years.
