She was born in Greenwood County December 31, 1959 a daughter of Thomas Lee and the late Minnie Bell Fisher Lee. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and former choir member. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School Class of 1978 was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College with a certificate in Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by a sister Sandra Jean Lee. Surviving is her father, Thomas Lee of the home, two aunts, 3 great aunts, 1 Uncle and 2 great uncles and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held

Mrs. Rosa Syrkett Brown, widow of the late Mr. King Brown, died on Thursday, December 18th in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Ninety-Six, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Mr. Will Syrkett and Mrs. Ada Andrews Syrkett. She was a member of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Epworth and a retired beautician. Mr. Joseph H Sweat 88, of 2922 Ridge Road, Hodges, SC husband of Lillie E. Sweat departed this life December 19, 2014 at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born in Holly Hill, SC on September 2, 1926 to the late Engle Sweat and Maize Snellings Sweat. Mr. Sweat was a graduate of Roberts High School in Holly Hill, SC. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army in the WWII conflict. He retired from Bell South Telephone Service after 30 years of service. Mrs. Lula Mae Wilson Lites was born June 11, 1916 in Greenwood County to the late James Creswell and Maggie Wilson. She was the only child to this union. She peacefully departed this life to be the with the Lord on December 17, 2014 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, South Carolina. She was educated in the Greenwood County School System.
